Last week the gym was full of Halloween spirit! The lobby, the gym, and the equipment were all decorated in ghoulish fashion, and all of our students were invited to wear their costumes to class. The ghost ring swing into the pit was a huge hit with students of all ages, and so was the candy we gave out at the end of each class!
Halloween is my favorite holiday, so I loved seeing all the great costumes and all the students who got into the Halloween spirit.
On Saturday night, we had a Halloween-themed Parent Night Out that was hugely successful! All of our ghosts and ghouls who came were able to participate in games (mummy wrap, pin the nose on the pumpkin, pirate), inflatables, crafts, face painting, Just Dance with our Wii system, and much more!
Our next Parent Night Out will be held on Saturday, November 17th! Moms and dads: mark your calendars! Parent Night Out's are affordable and fun ways to drop off your children for a few hours at Spectrum so that you can have some fun too!
In light of Hurricane Sandy, the gym was closed on Monday and Tuesday morning, but reopened for classes on Tuesday afternoon. Here at Spectrum, we have one of the most flexible make-up policies you can find in this business. If your child has missed a class due to inclement weather, we will be happy to schedule a make-up for you.
Don't forget about our School-age open gym! Open gym is on Friday nights from 7:30-9:00, and is open to current registered students only. Open gym only costs $5.00, but it is FREE when used as a make-up!
Our Spooktacular Pre-School Warm-up!
We wish everyone who suffered damages from Hurricane Sandy the best of luck in rebuilding!
Peace, love, and gymnastics,
